Product Development – Step 2

As your concept been finalized?

Now, time to turn your idea into an actual product!

Usually, Step 2 takes about 12 weeks after formulation approval. However, some developments take 3 months or more.

Now that the product is finalized in terms of production specifications,

Burgen will provide a standard supply agreement
to the client.

Do I have to wait until product spec finalization to initiate contract negotiation?

Order quantity is measured by total units produced, including packaging specifications.

Once the client confirms key elements such as final sample number, size, order quantity, and packaging type, Burgen will provide quotations followed by negotiations.

Burgen and the client sign the finalized supply agreement.

If a non-Burgen standard template is used, additional time for legal review will be required.

The initial plan is very important to set the direction for product development. Different plans can have different lead times for product development.

Can I skip the 1st batch production and manufacture all my products at once?
Skipping the first batch is not recommended as it helps validate mass production quality.
Why do I need to confirm the 1st bulk baseline product?
This ensures the final product matches the approved formulation before full-scale production.
When will the production start?
Production starts after final sample approval and signing the supply agreement.

When requested, Burgen can provide mock production prior to actual production.Additional cost will be charged.

Burgen will partially manufacture the bulk with the minimum batch size available.

The client confirms the bulk baseline product before full manufacturing.

Standard production
Once the bulk baseline is confirmed, remaining orders are manufactured.

Filling & Assembly
Products are greenlit only after passing the final micro test.
Final Inspection

To a perfect finish!

Products will be thoroughly inspected for final ship out.

Burgen will inspect for any potential defect through our QC process, then safely deliver the products to the client's designated warehouse.
